As you can see, this week’s cg will join in on the seminar by Pastor Michael Koh. It’s held on thursday and friday but it’s not clear if its the same talk for both days.

Please do come this topic speaks to everyone in a wide spectrum of aspects which of course is in line with the topic. Pastor Michael Koh is a great speaker… err Carmen… what am i suppose to write more about him? I don’t know a thing bout him la… Well, those who attended last Sunday’s main service or have heard him spoke know he’s good nonetheless.

The seminar is titled ‘Thriving in 2010′. And here’s excerpts from the leaflet:

“Does God have a way for us to do well in our work and vocation in troubled times and places?”

Hard times, injustices and recessions have called into question the possibility of thriving where all around are feeling hopeless….
But without doubt, God’s intention is for us to thrive in troubling and challenging times. Come and hear Pastor Michael share timeless truths from God’s Word about thriving in the midst of tragedies, setbacks, ruptures in relationships (and you guys probably thinking BGR again…), wilderness wanderings and personal misfortunes.

This seminar is open to everyone!

Also, worship team is looking for people interested to serve in worship. Those interested let Carmen know and she’ll pass your names to the worship team for auditioning — You ain’t getting in that easy!

If you were wondering that above phrase was just a random tongue twister for idunnowhat effect…

Gong xi fa cai!

Happy Chinese New Year PCGians~

So how was the lunar new year? get lots of ang pao? watched fireworks?
The peeps at my neighbourhood were all the rage blasting firecrackers even at 2am =.=”

CG for 2010 will be in session this Friday.

We will be kicking off this years first CG meet at Carmen’s.

Date: 26th February ‘10

Time: 7.30pm

Venue: Carmen’s House

My sincerest apologies to everyone. Forgot to send out the mail.
Ever had those times when u keep remembering somethin’ at an unsuitable time only to shuffle it back in for later but totally forget it?

Hope everyone has been spending at least 5-10minutes everyday in sincerely praying for yourself to have the armor of God.
If you haven’t its a good time to start. Do come on Friday with some exciting stories to tell, even a short one is alright.

Rev Ronald Ooi will be speaking on the book of Ephesians, focusing on chapter 3&4. This is the continuation from the chapter 1&2 of Ephesians he have shared on last Saturday. You are encouraged to read the book of Ephesians for better understanding as Rev Ronald preaches on this book. Do encourage your CG members to do so too.

Guest Speaker: Ps. Jesse
Objective: to encourage the college/ y.adults to invite their friends along to church.

the title sounded MLM-ish at first glance.

We are seeing 2 people off to the UK this week Ms. Roe & (Uncle) Winson (jk). Tomorrow (29th Sept), Winson will be flying off to a better place as compared to Bristol as he claims. So make arrangements if you haven’t already to the meeting point stated in the e-mail. Roe’s flying off on Saturday in the wee hours of the morning so it would be somewhat inconvenient for some.
